This page explains what happens to the information you give Party Game Rentals NYC through this website. We keep it simple: we use your details to answer your rental inquiry and arrange your booking, and for nothing else.
What the inquiry form collects
- Your name and phone number, and your email address if you choose to give it.
- The games or packages you’re interested in, and any group size you choose.
- Your requested pickup (or delivery) and return (or collection) dates and times.
- Whether you want pickup or delivery, and your delivery address if you choose delivery.
- Anything you write in the notes box.
- Which page of the site you sent the form from.
We don’t ask for payment details on this website, and sending an inquiry doesn’t take any payment.
Where your details go
- Our rental tracker. Your inquiry is saved to our private rental tracker, a Google Sheets spreadsheet in our Google account. Our website passes it to the tracker through a small Google Apps Script that only we control.
- An email to us. The same script emails the inquiry from our Gmail account to our business inbox so we can reply quickly. We don’t send you marketing email.
- A processing log. A hidden tab in the same spreadsheet records each inquiry’s reference number, when it arrived, your requested dates, and whether our email was sent. It doesn’t store your phone number, email or address.
The website itself doesn’t keep a separate database of inquiries.
We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Larger party games come through an equipment partner. If you book one, we may share the details they need to supply it (such as your event date and delivery location), after we’ve talked with you.
What’s stored in your browser
The games you add to your inquiry list are remembered in your browser (using local storage) so the list stays put while you look at different pages. Your name, phone number, email and address are not stored in your browser. To clear the list, remove the items or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Cookies, analytics and ads
This website doesn’t use advertising trackers or analytics services, and it doesn’t set cookies to track you.
Spam protection
To stop automated spam, we count how many forms are sent from a connection in a short period. A scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address is kept in Google’s temporary cache for this, for about ten minutes.
How long we keep inquiries
We keep inquiries and bookings in our rental tracker for as long as we need them to handle your rental and keep our business records. If you’d like us to delete your inquiry, contact us and we’ll remove it unless we need to keep it for an active booking or our records.
